This project challenged me to communicate a message about stress to a college student audience through a primarily visual concept. I developed a poster that uses a crumbling cookie as a metaphor for the effects of stress, paired with concise typography to reinforce the message.
Design Evolution & Iterations
The poster went through several iterations as I refined the arrangement of each element to improve visual interest, hierarchy, and flow. I focused on scale, order, and emphasis to make the message easier to follow and strengthen the connection between each component.
Initial concept with a focus on distress vs. eustress
Simplified the design and adjusted the overall balance by focusing on a single cookie
Adjusted the flow of the messaging and added "www.stress.org" as a resource/call to action
Final version with a refined hierarchy and more logical flow of information
