This project explored the theme of transformation through the subject of beetles, which would eventually be developed into a collaborative installation. I explored a playful, storybook-inspired illustration style while experimenting with humor, character, and unexpected perspectives.
A key challenge was developing a distinct visual approach that could stand on its own while ultimately contributing to an installation alongside pieces created in drastically different styles.
