Tarot Cards

I created a series of three tarot cards that reinterpret traditional tarot archetypes through geometric representations of tropical fruits. I designed cards for The Empress, represented by a pineapple; The Fool, represented by a banana; and The Emperor, represented by a dragon fruit. In addition to the three tarot cards, I designed an explainer card introducing the symbolism behind each fruit and a card back that brought the colors and geometric language of the series together.

The project challenged me to translate recognizable fruits into geometric forms while maintaining their distinct characteristics and creating a cohesive visual system. It also required me to consider both the visual aspects of each design and the underlying meaning behind it, connecting the characteristics of each fruit to the symbolism of its corresponding tarot archetype.
